About Me
I began showing and breeding Shelties in the 70s and added Collies in the 80s. About 10 years ago, as my old collie could not help me get on the grooming table or in the tub, I decided it was time to get a small breed and thus the Havanese (though we have two Collies we've bought in the meanwhile - both finished their championship, but that's it) My first was SOX, thus the signature. She quickly finished her championship, is very spoiled and sleeps in our bed. She is a definite alpha. We have several others who all share the house with us, including 3 of the 4 in the litter we had last May. We lost their mother to eclampsia. She was one of the very special ones and people were looking for females when they were ready to go to new homes. I did have a home for the one parti male, but I couldn't part with him (and they recently got a parti male from the same line) who began his show career last weekend with a win one day over a ranked GCh. Hopefully I'll show all three of the boys we call the babies. We really love our Havanese!!!!!
