My browser is very slow on the forum, I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem? It seems like for the past few days the board is loading very slow...scrolling down a page takes forever and it is very frustrating. I have not noticed any problems on other sites. I did shut off the snow above.
Any solutions? Suggestions?

The snow 'could' cause some cpu strain, but I don'think I have it set with to muc snow where that would be an issue.. Let me set it to less snow and see how it goes..
anyone else notice a slowdown?

Ok, I cut the snow by almost 50%.. Notice anything?
For the record, I have not noticed any slowdown over the past few days.
Thanks

I can never tell where the problem is since my connection can go down to just about nothing sometimes.

I had not noticed any problem, and I sure like the snow.

The snow actually will cause the CPU slowness.. the more snow u add, the more slow it can get... for real.. I actually added more snow a couple days ago.. lol..and made it twinkle..
I cut the snow in half now.
I do not think the picture thingy would cause any issues..
Let us know if you experience any real slowness... it might just be the host...

Linda,
Yes, the site will slow down depending on how many concurent connections their are to the database. But, there really is no increase in traffic from this week compared to last month. I will open a ticket with the host to see if they are experiencing any overall slowness or issues.
Thanks

It seems quick enough today. No problems here.

And I noticed when the snow increased - a little blizzard - and I miss it! I vote for more snow, says the woman who lives in a snowless country!!!

Missy, LOL, so did I!
I do think that the site is a bit slower to load, but not jerky or anything. That being said, I don't think it's the host as when I browse using my iPhone (no snow) it loads up just as quickly as ever. If it was the host having problem they both would load slowly.

It's all still working just fine for me, but we have superfast internet and I just got a new 'puter so I am currently feeling spoiled! The 'puter was my early Christmas present and I'm still just as pleased with it as I was when I got it.
