You can get email notifications (or not) for many different aspects of the board. Go into My Settings -> Notification Options and My Settings -> Your Notifications to customize these options.

You can Facebook 'Like" any thread by clicking Like at the bottom of the thread. It will be added to your FB page so others can see it!
