I am Amanda and I live in South Carolina. I am loved by 3 furry family members. Isabelle is an almost 8 year old Maltese (my first dog), Dora is a 5 year old Havanese who made me fall in love with the breed, and Dasher is my 2 year old Havanese who happens to be my heart dog (shhh Belle and Dora don't know!) I love to train my dogs, we compete in many different rings including obedience, rally, and agility. I also really enjoy doing therapy dog and probably most of all just spending time with them.

I am Jane and I live in the Bay Area in Northern California. And I have two, wonderful, BIG furry Havanese boys!

Lincoln is a black and white parti belton and is 5 1/2 years old. He's an independent boy and marches to the beat of his own drummer and turns his nose up at most non-meat snacks. He has a super thick, cottony coat that I am determined to keep in a very long puppy cut for now. I enjoy doing my own grooming, haircutting, etc. I consider it my most challenging project to date!

Scout is black with white markings and is 3 3/4 years old. He's a lapdog, lover, and a licker. He uses his tongue the way most dogs use their noses and he must *taste* his world!
I would love to try agility with him someday.

I've been married for 20 years now and also have two human boys, ages 15 and 11. Must launch them out into the world first before I adopt more Havs!

My name is Kimberly - obviously. I have one male puppy, Vega. I was breeding Havanese for several years and he is from my last litter. He just began showing and is having a lot of fun with it.

How exciting!! Hi everyone, I'm Marj and live near Montreal, Quebec in Canada. I have 2 Havs, Ricky and Sammy (both just turned 4 - they are 2 weeks apart), 3 cats, 3 kids (20 son, 18 son and 15 daughter) and a very understanding hubby, Ralph.

I work part-time in a health food store for cats and dogs and am passionate about fighting against puppy mills, educating, learning and enjoying anything and everything Havanese!

Hi!

I'm Ann and I live in Cumming, GA just north of Atlanta. We have 3 Havs, Scooter who is 2, Murphy was our first rescue and he's 1 1/2, and Gracie is our Havanese Rescue foster girl who we couldn't part with and she's also 1 1/2. Yes, in 2 short years I went from no dogs to 3 dogs! I'm proud to be called a Crazy Dog Lady a/k/a CDL.

I've been married to my very supportive husband, Gavin, for almost 4 years and we have three kids, 18, 15, and 13. Is it any wonder we've started adding dogs? We volunteer for Havanese Rescue as a foster home and have had the joy of fostering two dogs so far.

Hi everyone,
I am Karen, mom to Brady, Dugan and Cassie. I live in the Philadelphia area. Brady was my first havanese and he is now 4 years old. Dugan was our second and he is 2 years old. We recently added Cassie who came to us through Havanese Rescue. She is almost 3 years old and quite the spoiled princess. We also have 2 ragdoll kitties, Abbie and Jake. I am married. We do not have any children.

Missy, did you search for avatar? It's easy! Just look up at the upper right corner. Click on your name. It's a drop down menu. Click on My Settings. Go into Profile and then Change Avatar. Tada!

Also, if you want to change your profile photo (they are different) then click on Change Photo instead.

Hi everyone! My name is Carolina but my nickname is Lina - thus the name on the forum. You'll see people calling me by both those names, so don't be confused if that happens! I have two Havanese, Kubrick who is 3 years old and Hitchcock who is 1.5 years old. If you can't tell, my husband and I are big movie buffs! We live in Brooklyn, NY and all of us love living in NYC - even the dogs! I'm looking forward to talking to everyone here!

Whoo Hoo! I'm so glad this wonderful community is up and running!

I'm Jeanne, mom to an awesome black and white parti (and party) girl named Maddie May. As you can tell from my id., I love Neezers! I got Maddie when she was about 8-9 months old from Kimberly (Havtahava). I live in the San Francisco/Bay Area with my husband, Vince and have one grown daughter.

Maddie is now 4 years old and is the light of our lives. She's done agility, obedience, rally, and is a certified therapy dog who works hard at bringing smiles to others and to us.
