Hi everyone, I'm Hannah, I am the very proud Mum to Boo an absolutely beautiful 7 year old Gold Sable Havanese boy ( I adopted him when he was 4) and Isabella the most affectionate, sweet natured Grey and White 18 month old Lhasa Apso (I rescued her a year ago),

They are my world I absolutely adore them both!

We live in Somerset, UK. I can't wait to get to know people on this site to get talking to other Havanese owners,

I don't know how it is for you guys but noone knows what Boo is when I say he is a Havanese and I find it quite hard to get grooming tips for Havs (Boo has a full coat as you can see and it takes a bit of managing lol!) so looking forward to learning more about the wonderful Havanese!

Glad to 'meet' you, Hannah. You have such beautiful dogs! I love that you've included pictures in your introduction. We love pictures! As Poornima has said, there are many threads on Grooming here so I hope you find something that answers some of your questions. If not, dont' hesitate to post in any of them or start a new thread. We'll be more than glad to help.

thanks for the welcome, and you're pups are totally beautiful and you have 5, I bet your house is so much fun! I was just reading your post in "help way beyond shy" so are yours all older rescues? (like Boo and Isabella) I would love to rescue more in the future, the nice thing about hav's in the Uk is that there actually arn't that many dogs that need rescuing, I really had to search for Boo because I decided Havanese was the breed for me and I wanted to take an older dog on, and Isabella was one of those "this dog needs a home" and I grabbed her and loved her lol! x
