I just found this site....my name is Dale. I have a Havy that is 10 years old....her name is Honey......she is my life, she is the reason I get up in the morning.

We live in Virginia but I adopted Honey from a breeder in Maryland.

My Honey has CHF and is very sick.....I can't believe I am going to lose my precious Honey in the near future....

This site has helped me feel a connection to those who share the same enjoyment I have with my Havy.....

Hello Dale and Honey. We are so glad you are here. We can offer support and share the journey with you. Our members are so helpful with suggestions, many of us have gone through similar situations. Our family had one dog, Tramp the mutt that lived quite a long time after diagnosis of CHF. We had thought his time would be very short but he lived several years with the help of Lasix daily.

My Honey is my life....I love her so much! We adopted her when she was 4 months old. She sleeps on our bed, she sits in my lap while I eat...in fact one day I was eating a sandwich and talking to my hubby......I would take a bite and then give her a bite, I took a bite and gave her a bite....then all of a sudden I realized what I was doing....so she got the rest of the sandwich....and I did not get e-coli.........lol

This puppy dog gets more beautiful every time I look at him!!!!!!!

I'm so very sorry Honey is sick I can tell she is such a big part of your life My two are like children to me I get tears in my eyes just thinking how I would be feeling if I were you. She is a beautiful Havanese and I will pray for her.

My Honey is now on Lasix and seems to be stable....thank you Lord Jesus!
